TROPICAL TRASH STOLEN GEAR WICKER PARK CHICAGO

EDIT: JAZZMASTER SERIAL # M034281

Hey folks - had our guitars and bass head stolen out of our van yesterday afternoon along with all of our clothes and money over by The Handlebar in Chicago.

The guitar is a white japanese Fender Jazzmaster with a Mastery bridge, Whizz-O buzz stop, tortoise shell pickguard with a large cracked googly eye on the front, SERIAL #M034281 with Red Crayola and black oak Arkansas stickers on the back amongst others, duct tape holding the strap on.

The bass is a light blue Fender Jazz bass with a denim pickguard (really). We also had an Earth Producer 440 guitar head taken, one of the hooks for winding the cord on the back of the amp is snapped off.

We had tons of records taken - Bill Orcutt, Aufgehoben's Fragments of the Marble Plan, Steve Lacy, Folkways shit, VSS, Kjell Høglund, Snow Snake, Brett Naucke, lots of jazz.  Not much chance for finding the LPs and stuff I don't think, but ya never know.  Holding out hope for the guitars since they're fairly unusual.  They have a lot of sentimental value to us, really pretty crushed by this.  If anyone runs across these guitars or amps on eBay/craigslist/reverb/music go round/pawn shops please let me know! Thanks everyone!  jimmarlowe at gmail dot com
