AVEBURY - JULY 2009

On this decidedly un-blustery Shmas-eve (we don't celebrate christmas 'round here) my thoughts take me back to the Somerset and the Wiltshire Dales - so have a jolly, and enjoy a pictorial journey through the thinnest part of the veil.

Hard to tell but this is actually fucking huge - consider: the stones at Avebury were put there on purpose. It's not like people had a shit ton of free time either - eating was still a full time job, although at this point people were beginning to taste so-called "leisure time."

Obviously I didn't take this picture but this was there while we were. The oval towards the top of the picture is the long barrow, the other crop circle being to the immediate right of the picture. This circle was (remarkably) totally concealed even when standing on top of the barrow.

The Wiltshire Crop Circle Study Group is one of the best crop circle websites I've found. No wonder - they have as many as 30+ circles a month in the spring and summer in the dales alone!

*Update* Norway Spiral - Link Roundup

They (with a capitol T) are trying to explain this as a Russian rocket launch, but Russia denied it. Then confirmed it. It happened December 9th 2009 in Tromso, Norway between 7:50 and 8:00 a.m.

No one has a goddamn clue what it was, but EISCAT (the Norwegian version of HAARP, an ionosphere monitoring stationg) is apparently somewhere in the vicinity of Tromso...

UPDATE:
this latest video comes after Russia has apparently confirmed that they were shooting rockets from a submarine, and that the trail seen is just part of the rocket's contrail. This video makes it look like the spiral was just a tiny rotating whirl in the sky, not the gigantic spinning blue and white spiral which appears to rip open that was visible all across Norway. Even if it is a Russian sub shooting rockets, why is that ok? Shouldn't the Norweigan government care if they're firing things right off the coast?

AS FAR AS I KNOW THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN, BUT THE BIRDS IN THE GRAPEVINE TELL ME THAT THE NATION OF BELGIUM HAS RECENTLY ADMITTED AS MUCH. THYME WILL THELL.
